BEST NAS FOR HOME NETWORK STREAMING UPGRADE
10x on 2012 R2, 50x on Windows Server 2019 and 20x on Server 2022.Before anyone says it, I don't always in-place upgrade and would much rather rebuild a new server when it comes to upgradi. The HIKVISION EXIR (2CD2342WD-I) is a pretty good outdoor-focused camera, and it should be considering its by far the most expensive camera in our collection. Good morningI have a VSphere infrastructure of approx.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a web based, locally hosted document management system. Web Based Document Management Best Practices & General IT.It is a 4 bay NAS, meaning you can mount 4 storage drives (3.5' hard disk or a 2.5' SSD) and supports up to 64 TB of data. The DS920 is a popular NAS choice on the market, not only for streaming applications but also for all its features.
BEST NAS FOR HOME NETWORK STREAMING 1080P
So should I get another Server? Or should I invest in a Synology? Something that is decent at media sharing, good at decoding 1080p movies etc would be ideal! Synology Disk Station DS920+- Best NAS for Shield TV. If not, are there any other devices that people could recommend, I would ideally like a RAID1 solution as my current server doesnt support any RAID and it would be nice to have the redundancy. I was looking at a Synology as I see that they do media sharing, file storage and they also have the functionality for CCTV recording and storage, would anyone recommend this? The server itself is getting a bit old and I am looking to replace it for something cheap, energy efficient etc. I currently have a low end server running Windows Server 2012 R2, it is used mainly for file storage, CCTV recording for 2 IP cameras and more DLNA media sharing across other devices in the home such as TV's, Games consoles etc. I am hoping this post is acceptable, but if not then I apologies. So this is my first question, this place seems to be moreso aimed at corporate/business environments and not to home users. I have finally decided to register and hopefully I will become a regular! :) Hey everyone! I have been hovering around Spiceworks for a long time, usually when Google brings me here when I am looking for an answer to a question that has already been answered here.
